Bernard is the Group Managing Director of the Paynet Group of Companies which includes Paynet Kenya, Paynet Zimbabwe, EFT Kenya and PesaPoint. Born in Zimbabwe he has spent all his working life involved with IT in Africa and was the founder of what was renamed the Paynet Group in 1997. Bernard has been involved in building new and unique business models in e-banking, starting in Zimbabwe with a payment solution that now services 85% of the market and more recently in Kenya with the Paynet outsourcing services and the PesaPoint 3rd party ATM network. |
