Building on the success of the first ever Cards East Africa 2006 Conference and Exhibition, the 2007 edition seek to provide a unique platform for speakers and delegates to discuss pertinent issues relating to strategies to grow acceptability and use of cards in the sector. Understandably therefore, the theme for the Cards East Africa 2007 conference and exhibition is “maximizing cards growth and profit” in East Africa.

The objective of the 2007 event will be to establish the size and structure of the market for ATMs, credit cards, debit cards, store cards and smart cards in the region. The conference will also look at key players in the market (issuers and operators), number of cards in circulation, numbers of transactions and value of transactions and offer strategic analysis of sector forecasts and trends to watch.

The conference aims at bringing together experts from Africa and overseas to discuss and debate the key issues in the East African region in comparism with developments in other pars of the world.


CardExpo East Africa 2007 is scheduled for November 19 – 20, 2007 at Hilton Nairobi Hotel, Kenya.
