"EMV migration and Risk Management"
Facilitator: Dave Cole (Director, Smart Direction Online London, UK)
Dave Cole developed processes and procedures for Visa International to co-ordinate the introduction of EMV chip based applications throughout all of the Visa regions. He also developed an EMV migration plan for a pan-African bank in 13 African countries. The plan is to allow compliance in each market to EMV and 3DES for ATM Acquiring and Issuing. Also looked at the online requirements needed to inform their customers in each market.

"Retail Card Strategy to bank the Unbanked"
Facilitator: Richard Ketley (Director, Genesis Analytics, South Africa)
Richard Ketley is a Director of Genesis Analytics, and head of the Banking Practice. Genesis is the only specialist banking strategy firm in the African continent and operates across Africa and the Middle East from offices in Johannesburg. Richard has worked extensively with banking and financial sector clients throughout African and the Middle East, in all areas of retail banking. His particular interest is in using card and related products to reach the mass market in low income countries. He has advised most of the larger banks on the continent on retail banking strategies. He was the Head of strategy for Africa for Standard Bank where his responsibility spanned 17 countries and focus on retail and card strategies.
